Step-by-step guide to cancel your Ipsy subscription online or through the mobile app. Covers all tiers including Original, Extra, and Ultimate.
Cancel your Ipsy subscription in about 5 minutes. Whether you receive the Original, Extra, or Ultimate box, the cancellation process is the same for all tiers. You just need to complete it separately for each active subscription on your account.
The fastest way to cancel is through your account on ipsy.com. This method works for all subscription tiers — Original, Extra, and Ultimate.
1Log In to Your Account
Go to ipsy.com and sign in with the email address and password associated with your subscription.
2Open Account Settings
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the page and select Account from the dropdown menu.
3View Membership
Find the active subscription you want to cancel. If you have multiple subscriptions (such as Original and Extra), each one is listed separately. Click View Membership on the one you want to cancel.
4Click Cancel Membership
Select Cancel Membership to begin the cancellation process. Ipsy may present you with alternative options such as skipping a month or switching tiers — decline these if you want to fully cancel.
5Verify Your Identity
You will be asked to log in again to verify your account information. Enter your credentials and proceed.
6Continue Cancellation
Ipsy may show you retention offers or ask for a reason. Select a reason and click Continue Cancellation to move forward.
7Confirm Cancellation
Review the cancellation details and finalize the process. Once successful, you will see a confirmation message on screen. Check your email for a cancellation confirmation from Ipsy.
You must cancel by 11:59 PM PT on the 25th of the month to avoid being charged for the next month's bag. If you cancel after this deadline, your cancellation takes effect the following month and you will still receive (and be charged for) the upcoming shipment.
If you subscribe to more than one tier (for example, both Original and Extra), you need to cancel each subscription separately. Canceling one does not automatically cancel the others.
On the Ipsy Mobile App
You can also cancel directly from the Ipsy app on your phone. The steps are similar to the website method.
1Open the Ipsy App
Launch the Ipsy app on your iPhone or Android device and make sure you are signed in to the account you want to cancel.
2Go to Account Settings
Tap the profile icon (usually in the bottom navigation bar or top-right corner) and navigate to your Account settings.
3Select Your Membership
Find the active subscription you want to cancel and tap View Membership or Manage Membership to open your subscription details.
4Tap Cancel Membership
Scroll down and tap Cancel Membership. Ipsy may offer you alternatives like pausing or skipping a month — decline if you want to cancel outright.
5Verify and Confirm
You may be asked to re-enter your login credentials. Follow the remaining prompts, select a cancellation reason when asked, and tap Continue Cancellation to finalize. A confirmation message will appear once the cancellation is complete.
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store rather than through Ipsy directly, you must cancel through your device's subscription settings instead. On iOS, go to Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions. On Android, open the Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions.
Ipsy Subscription Tiers
Ipsy offers several subscription options, and the cancellation process is the same for each. Here is what you should know about each tier:
Ipsy Original (Glam Bag): Five deluxe sample-sized beauty products each month for $14/month. This is the entry-level tier and the most common subscription.
Ipsy Extra: Five full-size beauty products each month for $32/month, valued at up to $200. This is the mid-range tier for those who prefer full-size items over samples.
Ipsy Ultimate: Eight full-size beauty products shipped quarterly for $65/quarter, valued at up to $400. This is the premium tier with a quarterly billing cycle rather than monthly.
Each tier is treated as a separate subscription on your account. If you subscribe to more than one, you need to cancel each one individually through the steps above.
Refund Policy
Ipsy does not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on subscription shipments. Once your payment has been processed and your bag has been assembled, the charge is final.
Monthly subscriptions: When you cancel, your subscription remains active through the end of your current billing period. You will receive the bag you already paid for, but you will not be charged again.
Annual memberships: If you cancel an annual plan, you will continue to receive all remaining prepaid shipments until your annual term ends. No partial refund is issued for the unused portion of an annual membership.
Damaged or missing items: While Ipsy does not process refunds, they do offer replacements for missing or damaged items if you contact support within 45 days of the shipment date. Reach out through the Ipsy Help Center to request a replacement.
Ipsy Shop orders: Orders placed through the Ipsy Shop cannot be canceled once submitted and are not eligible for refunds.
