Cómo cancelar Instacart+

En Instacart.com

La forma más rápida de cancelar Instacart+ es a través de Instacart website. Your membership benefits stay active until the end of your current billing period, so you will not lose access immediately.

1Ir a Instacart.com
Open your web browser and navigate to instacart.com. Sign in with the email address and password associated with your Instacart account.
2Abrir the Account Menu
Click the three horizontal lines in the upper-left corner of the page, or click the account icon in the upper-right corner. This opens your account navigation menu.
3Ir a Your Instacart+ Membership
Select Your Instacart+ membership from the menu. This takes you to a page showing your current plan, billing date, and membership status.
4Seleccionar Cancel Membership
Under the Manage your membership section, click Cancel membership. Instacart may present offers to keep you subscribed, such as a discounted rate or a temporary pause. Skip these if you want to fully cancel.
5Continue to Cancel
On the next screen, click Continue to cancel. Instacart may show you a summary of the benefits you will lose, including free delivery and reduced service fees.
6Confirmar tu cancelación
Click Confirm cancellation to finalize the process. You will receive a confirmation email from Instacart. Your Instacart+ benefits remain active until the end of your current billing period.
If you signed up for Instacart+ through a partner offer (such as a Chase credit card or Mastercard promotion), you may need to cancel through that partner instead. Check the email you received when you activated the membership for specific instructions.

En la app móvil de Instacart

You can cancel directly inside the Instacart app on either iOS or Android, as long as your membership is billed by Instacart and not through the App Store or Google Play.

1Abrir the Instacart App
Launch the Instacart app on your phone and make sure you are signed in to the account with the Instacart+ membership.
2Ir a Your Account
Tap the three horizontal lines in the upper-left corner or the account icon to open the navigation menu. Select Your Instacart+ membership.
3Tocar Cancel Membership
Scroll down to the Manage your membership section and tap Cancel membership. Instacart may offer you retention deals like a free month or reduced pricing.
4Confirmar the Cancellation
Tap Continue to cancel, then tap Confirm cancellation. A confirmation message appears on screen, and Instacart sends a confirmation email to your registered address.
If you do not see the option to cancel inside the app, your membership may be billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. In that case, use one of the methods below.

En la App Store (iOS)

If you subscribed to Instacart+ through Apple's App Store, you must cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings. The Instacart app and website cannot process the cancellation for App Store subscriptions.

At the top of the Settings menu, tap your name and Apple ID banner to open your account management screen.

4Seleccionar Instacart+
Find and tap Instacart or Instacart+ in your list of active subscriptions. If Instacart does not appear here, your membership is billed directly by Instacart — use the website or in-app method instead.
5Cancelar la suscripción

After canceling through Apple, your Instacart account itself is not deleted. You can still use Instacart to place orders — you simply lose the Instacart+ perks like free delivery once the billing period ends.

En Google Play (Android)

If you subscribed to Instacart+ through Google Play, you need to cancel through Google's subscription settings. Canceling inside the Instacart app will not stop Google Play billing.

1Abrir Google Play Store

2Acceder a Your Subscriptions
Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner, then select Payments & subscriptions followed by Subscriptions. This displays all your active Google Play subscriptions.
3Seleccionar Instacart
Find and tap Instacart from the subscriptions list. If Instacart is not listed, your billing is handled directly by Instacart — cancel through the website or the Instacart app instead.
4Cancelar tu suscripción
Toca Cancelar suscripción y sigue las indicaciones en pantalla para confirmar. Your Instacart+ access remains active until the end of the current Google Play billing cycle.
If you are unsure whether your membership is billed through Google Play or directly by Instacart, check your Google Play subscription list first. If Instacart is not there, open the Instacart app and go to Your Instacart+ membership to see your billing details.

Política de reembolso de Instacart+

Whether you receive a refund after canceling Instacart+ depends on your plan type and when you cancel.

  • Annual plan, within 5 days: If you cancel your annual Instacart+ membership within the first 5 calendar days of your paid membership and you have not placed any orders using your Instacart+ benefits, you are eligible for a full refund of your membership fee.
  • Annual plan, after 5 days: If you cancel after the 5-day window or you have already used your membership benefits, you will not receive a refund. However, your Instacart+ perks remain active through the end of your annual billing period.
  • Monthly plan: Monthly memberships are not eligible for prorated refunds. When you cancel, your benefits continue until the end of your current monthly billing cycle, y no se te cobrará de nuevo.
  • Free trial: If you cancel during your free trial period, you will not be charged at all. Your trial benefits end when the trial period expires.
  • Renewal charges: Instacart may process renewal charges up to 6 hours before your actual renewal date. These early charges are refundable under the standard Instacart+ terms.
