How to Cancel Peloton

Step-by-step guide to cancel your Peloton membership on the web, iOS, or Android. Covers All-Access, App One, and App+ tiers.

Cancel your Peloton membership in about 5 minutes. The steps depend on how you originally subscribed and which membership tier you have.

Peloton offers several membership tiers. All-Access Membership ($49.99/month) is for Peloton hardware owners and provides unlimited classes on your Bike, Tread, Row, or Guide. App One ($15.99/month) gives you access to strength, yoga, HIIT, outdoor running, and other floor-based workouts on your phone or tablet. App+ ($28.99/month) includes everything in App One plus unlimited cycling, running, walking, and rowing classes. The cancellation process is the same regardless of which tier you are on, but the method depends on how you subscribed.

If you own Peloton hardware with a financing or payment plan, canceling your membership does not cancel your hardware payments. Equipment financing is a separate agreement. Contact Peloton support at (866) 679-9129 or your financing provider to manage hardware payments independently.

On the Peloton Website

This is the standard method if you subscribed directly through Peloton. You must be the primary account holder to cancel.

1Go to Peloton Membership Page
Open your web browser and navigate to members.onepeloton.com. This works on any desktop or mobile browser.
2Sign In to Your Account
Sign in with the email address and password associated with your Peloton account. You must log in as the primary account holder — secondary profiles on an All-Access membership cannot cancel the subscription.
3Open Your Membership Settings
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the page and select Memberships from the dropdown menu. You will see your current membership tier, billing date, and payment method.
4Click Cancel Membership
On the Memberships page, click Cancel Membership next to your active plan. Peloton may present you with options to pause or switch your plan instead — skip past these if you want to fully cancel.
5Complete the Cancellation Survey
Select a reason for canceling from the list provided. Peloton may offer retention deals such as a discounted rate or a free month. Decline these offers if you want to proceed with cancellation.
6Confirm Your Cancellation
Review the cancellation details, including the date your access ends. Click Confirm to finalize the cancellation. You will receive a confirmation email from Peloton, and your membership remains active until the end of your current billing period.
These steps reflect the Peloton website as of the last update. Peloton may change their interface at any time. If you cannot find a specific option, visit Peloton Support or call (866) 679-9129 for assistance.

On the App Store (iOS)

If you subscribed to Peloton through the Apple App Store, you must cancel through Apple's subscription settings. Canceling on the Peloton website will not work for App Store subscriptions.

1Open iPhone Settings
Tap the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad home screen.
2Tap Your Apple ID
At the very top of the Settings menu, tap your name and Apple ID banner to open your Apple ID account management screen.
3Select Subscriptions
Tap Subscriptions from the list. You will see all active and expired subscriptions linked to your Apple ID.
4Select Peloton
Find and tap Peloton from your list of active subscriptions. If Peloton is not listed here, your subscription is billed directly through Peloton or another platform.
5Cancel the Subscription
Tap Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the screen, then confirm when prompted. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
If you subscribed through Apple, Apple's refund policy applies instead of Peloton's. To request a refund from Apple, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

On Google Play (Android)

If you subscribed through the Google Play Store, you need to cancel through Google's subscription management rather than the Peloton website.

1Open Google Play Store
Launch the Google Play Store app on your Android device. You can also visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions in a web browser.
2Access Your Profile
Tap your profile icon in the top right corner of the Play Store to open the account menu.
3Go to Payments & Subscriptions
Select Payments & subscriptions from the menu, then tap Subscriptions. You will see a list of all your active Google Play subscriptions.
4Select Peloton
Find and tap Peloton from the subscriptions list. If Peloton is not listed here, your subscription is billed directly through Peloton or another platform.
5Cancel Your Subscription
Tap Cancel subscription and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm. Your access continues until the current billing cycle ends, and you will not be charged again.
Google Play subscriptions follow Google's refund policy. To request a refund for a Google Play subscription, visit Google Play Help.

Peloton Refund Policy

Peloton does not offer prorated refunds when you cancel mid-billing cycle. When you cancel, your membership remains active until the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again after that date.

There are a few exceptions and details to keep in mind:

  • 60-day billing error window: If you believe you were charged in error, you must notify Peloton within 60 days of the billing date by contacting Member Support at (866) 679-9129 or through the Peloton Contact Us page. Peloton will not issue refunds or credits after this 60-day period.
  • New York residents: Under New York's auto-renewal law, you may cancel within 14 days of being charged at a new, higher price and receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of your subscription.
  • Canadian residents (British Columbia): You have 10 days after your initial subscription to cancel for any reason and receive a refund.
  • Canadian residents (Ontario): You have a 10-day cancellation window under the Consumer Protection Act, with a 15-day refund deadline.
  • Canadian residents (Saskatchewan): You have a 7-business-day cancellation window with a 15-day refund requirement.

If you subscribed through Apple or Google Play, the refund policies of those platforms apply instead. Contact Apple Support or Google Play Help for platform-specific refund requests.
