The most direct way to cancel is through the ClassPass website or mobile app. Your membership stays active until the end of your current billing period, so you can keep booking classes until then.
1Log In to ClassPass
Open your web browser and go to classpass.com, or launch the ClassPass app on your phone. Sign in with the email and password tied to your account.
2Go to Account Settings
Tap or click your profile icon in the bottom right corner of the app, or navigate to your account settings on the website. This opens your account management page.
3Tap Membership
Select Membership from the account settings menu. You will see your current plan, credit balance, and next billing date.
4Tap Cancel Membership
Scroll to the bottom of the Membership page and tap Cancel Membership. ClassPass may present a pause option or a discounted plan as a retention offer. Decline these if you want to fully cancel.
5Complete the Survey
ClassPass asks you to complete a brief survey about why you are leaving. Select a reason and follow the on-screen prompts to proceed.
6Confirm Your Cancellation
Tap Confirm to finalize the cancellation. You will receive a confirmation email from the ClassPass Customer Experience team. Your membership remains active through the end of your current billing cycle.
Submit your cancellation request at least 48 hours before your renewal date to make sure it is fully processed before your next charge. ClassPass requires cancellation no later than 24 hours before your billing date to avoid being charged for the next cycle.
Unused credits do not roll over after cancellation. Once your billing period ends, all remaining credits — including rollover credits, top-up credits, and add-on packs — are forfeited. Book any remaining classes before your access expires.
On the App Store (iOS)
If you subscribed to ClassPass through Apple's App Store, you must cancel through Apple's subscription settings. The ClassPass app cannot process the cancellation for you.
1Open iPhone Settings
Tap the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad home screen.
2Tap Your Apple ID
At the top of the Settings menu, tap your name and Apple ID banner to open your Apple ID account management screen.
3Select Subscriptions
Tap Subscriptions from the list. You will see all active and expired subscriptions linked to your Apple ID.
4Select ClassPass
Find ClassPass in your list of active subscriptions and tap it. If ClassPass does not appear here, your subscription is billed directly by ClassPass, not Apple.
5Cancel the Subscription
Tap Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the screen and confirm when prompted. Your ClassPass access continues until the end of your current Apple billing cycle.
If you subscribed through Apple, Apple's refund policy applies. To request a refund for an App Store purchase, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
On Google Play (Android)
If you subscribed to ClassPass through the Google Play Store, you need to cancel through Google's subscription management. Canceling inside the ClassPass app will not stop Google Play billing.
Tap your profile icon in the top right corner of the Play Store to open the account menu.
3Go to Payments & Subscriptions
Select Payments & subscriptions from the menu, then tap Subscriptions. This displays all your active Google Play subscriptions.
4Select ClassPass
Find ClassPass in the subscriptions list and tap it. If ClassPass is not listed, your billing is handled directly by ClassPass, not Google Play.
5Cancel Your Subscription
Tap Cancel subscription and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm. Your access continues until the end of the current Google Play billing cycle.
Google Play subscriptions follow Google's refund policy. To request a refund for a Google Play purchase, visit Google Play Help.
ClassPass Refund Policy
ClassPass does not offer refunds for unused months of membership, remaining credits, top-up credits, or add-on credit packs. When you cancel, your credits expire at the end of your current billing period with no reimbursement for the unused balance.
There is one limited exception: ClassPass will provide a refund for your current prepaid subscription period if you cancel and request a refund within 5 days of your first payment. Refunds may also be considered if your subscription is terminated early due to relocation, disability, or death. Outside of these circumstances, all sales are final.
If you cancel a reservation for an individual class at least 12 hours before its start time, the credits used for that booking are automatically returned to your account. Late cancellations (under 12 hours before class) may result in a credit penalty, and no-shows forfeit the full credit cost of the reservation.
If your subscription was billed through Apple or Google Play, ClassPass cannot process the refund. You must submit your request to Apple Support or Google Play Help instead.
