·9 min read

Step-by-step guide to cancel your LinkedIn Learning subscription on the web, iOS, or Android. Learn about the LinkedIn Premium bundle and refund policy.

Cancel your LinkedIn Learning subscription in about 5 minutes. LinkedIn Learning is included as part of LinkedIn Premium, so canceling means ending your entire Premium subscription. Pick the method below that matches how you originally subscribed.

LinkedIn Learning is bundled with LinkedIn Premium subscriptions (Career, Business, Sales Navigator, and Recruiter Lite). There is no way to cancel LinkedIn Learning separately while keeping your Premium plan. Canceling your Premium subscription ends access to both LinkedIn Learning courses and all other Premium features such as InMail credits, profile views, and advanced search filters.

On LinkedIn.com

The most straightforward way to cancel is through the LinkedIn website. Your Premium features, including LinkedIn Learning, remain active until the end of your current billing period.

1Go to Premium Settings
Open a web browser and navigate to linkedin.com/psettings/premium. This takes you directly to your Premium subscription management page. You can also get there by clicking your profile photo in the top menu, selecting Settings & Privacy, and then choosing Account preferences followed by Subscriptions and payments.
2Sign In
Log in with the email address and password associated with your LinkedIn account. If you use single sign-on through your employer, sign in with your work credentials. Make sure you are logged into the account that holds the Premium subscription.
3Click Manage Premium Account
On the subscription settings page, click Manage Premium account. You will see your current plan type (Premium Career, Premium Business, etc.), your next billing date, and the subscription price.
4Select Cancel Subscription
Click Cancel subscription. LinkedIn will present you with information about what you will lose when your subscription ends, including LinkedIn Learning access, InMail credits, and other Premium perks.
5Decline Retention Offers
LinkedIn will likely offer you a discounted rate, a plan downgrade, or a temporary pause. If you want to fully cancel, decline each offer by clicking Continue to cancel or the equivalent skip option at each step.
6Select a Reason
Choose a cancellation reason from the list provided. Your selection does not affect your ability to cancel.
7Confirm Cancellation
Review the summary showing your last day of Premium access, then click Confirm cancellation. LinkedIn will send a confirmation email to your registered email address. Your Premium features and LinkedIn Learning access continue until the end of your current billing period.
If your LinkedIn Learning access is provided through your employer or an organization, you cannot cancel it yourself. Contact your company's IT department or the account administrator. Organization-managed accounts do not appear in your personal subscription settings.

On the App Store (iOS)

If you subscribed to LinkedIn Premium through the Apple App Store, you must cancel through Apple's subscription settings. The LinkedIn website cannot process the cancellation for App Store purchases.

1Open iPhone Settings
Tap the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad home screen.
2Tap Your Apple ID
At the top of the Settings menu, tap your name and Apple ID banner to open your Apple ID account management screen.
3Select Subscriptions
Tap Subscriptions from the list. You will see all active and expired subscriptions linked to your Apple ID.
4Select LinkedIn Premium
Find and tap LinkedIn Premium (or LinkedIn) from your list of active subscriptions. If you do not see it, your subscription is not billed through Apple and you need to cancel on linkedin.com instead.
5Cancel the Subscription
Tap Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the screen and confirm when prompted. Your LinkedIn Learning access and other Premium features continue until the end of your current Apple billing period.
App Store subscriptions follow Apple's refund policy, not LinkedIn's. To request a refund for an App Store purchase, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

On Google Play (Android)

If you subscribed to LinkedIn Premium through the Google Play Store, you must cancel through Google's subscription management. Canceling on the LinkedIn website will not stop Google Play billing.

1Open Google Play Store
Launch the Google Play Store app on your Android device. You can also visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions in a web browser.
2Access Your Profile
Tap your profile icon in the top right corner of the Play Store to open the account menu.
3Go to Payments & Subscriptions
Select Payments & subscriptions from the menu, then tap Subscriptions. You will see a list of all your active Google Play subscriptions.
4Select LinkedIn Premium
Find and tap LinkedIn Premium (or LinkedIn) from the list. If it is not listed, your subscription is billed directly through LinkedIn.
5Cancel Your Subscription
Tap Cancel subscription and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm. Your Premium features and LinkedIn Learning access remain active until the current Google Play billing cycle ends.
Google Play subscriptions follow Google's refund policy. To request a refund, visit Google Play Help.

LinkedIn Learning Refund Policy

LinkedIn's refund policy depends on when you cancel and how you subscribed:

Monthly subscriptions: LinkedIn does not offer prorated refunds for monthly plans. When you cancel, your access continues until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after that date, but no refund is issued for the remaining days in your current month.

Annual subscriptions: If you cancel an annual subscription, your access continues until the end of the 12-month term you already paid for. LinkedIn does not provide partial refunds for unused months on annual plans under normal circumstances.

Free trial: LinkedIn Premium typically offers a one-month free trial. You can cancel at any time during the trial without being charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically billed for the next period at the standard rate. Once charged, the standard refund policy applies.

Requesting a refund: If you believe you were charged in error or want to request a refund for other reasons, contact LinkedIn support through the LinkedIn Help Center. Navigate to your specific issue and use the available contact options. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. For subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play, you must request refunds through Apple or Google respectively.
