Comment résilier Dropbox

Sur Dropbox.com

If you subscribed directly through the Dropbox website, this is the fastest way to cancel. Your account will downgrade to the free Dropbox Basic plan at the end of your current billing cycle.

1Sign In to Dropbox
Open your web browser and go to dropbox.com. Sign in with the email address and password associated with your paid subscription.
2Open Account Settings
Click your avatar or initials in the bottom-left corner of the page. In the menu that appears, select Manage account. This takes you to your account settings page on dropbox.com/account.
3Click Cancel Plan
Scroll to the bottom of your account settings page and click Cancel plan. If you do not see this option, your subscription may have been purchased through Apple or Google — see the iOS or Android sections below.
4Select a Reason
Dropbox will ask why you want to cancel. Choose a reason from the list and click Continue canceling. Dropbox may offer you a discount or a plan switch to keep you subscribed — decline these offers if you want to fully cancel.
5Confirm Cancellation
Follow the remaining prompts and confirm your cancellation. You will receive a confirmation email from Dropbox. Your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which your account automatically downgrades to Dropbox Basic.
When you cancel, your account converts to a free Dropbox Basic plan with 2 GB of storage. Your existing files are not deleted, but if you are using more than 2 GB, Dropbox will stop syncing new files to your devices. You can still access all your files at dropbox.com.
These steps reflect the Dropbox website as of the last update. If you cannot find a specific option, visit the Dropbox Help Center for current instructions.

Tap the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad home screen.

At the very top of the Settings menu, tap your name and Apple ID banner to open your Apple ID account management screen.

Tap Subscriptions from the list. You will see all active and expired subscriptions linked to your Apple ID.
4Select Dropbox
Find and tap Dropbox from your list of active subscriptions. If you do not see it listed, your subscription is not billed through Apple — try canceling on the Dropbox website instead.

Sur Google Play (Android)

If you subscribed through the Google Play Store, you can cancel through the Dropbox app or through Google Play directly.

1Open the Dropbox App
Launch the Dropbox app on your Android device. You can also go directly to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions in a web browser and skip to step 4.
2Go to Account Settings
Tap the Account tab in the bottom-right corner of the app.
3Tap Manage Your Subscription
Select Manage your subscription, then tap How to cancel. This redirects you to your subscription in the Google Play Store. If you do not see this option, your subscription is not billed through Google.
4Cancel on Google Play
Tap Cancel plan at the bottom of the screen, then tap Cancel subscription to confirm. You will receive a confirmation email to your Google account.
Uninstalling the Dropbox app does not cancel your subscription. You must follow the steps above to stop being charged. Les abonnements Google Play suivent la politique de remboursement de Google — visit Google Play Help to request a refund.

When you cancel a paid Dropbox plan, your account does not change immediately. Here is what to expect:

  • Access continues until your billing period ends. You keep all paid features (extra storage, advanced sharing, Smart Sync, etc.) until the end of your current monthly or annual billing cycle.
  • Your account downgrades to Dropbox Basic. After the billing period ends, your account converts to the free Basic plan with 2 GB of storage.
  • Your files are not deleted. All files and folders remain in your Dropbox account. However, if your stored data exceeds 2 GB, Dropbox will stop syncing new files to your devices. You can still view and download files at dropbox.com.
  • Shared folders and links keep working. Files you shared with others remain accessible. Shared folder memberships are preserved.
  • Some features are removed. You lose access to paid features like extended version history (beyond 30 days), remote device wipe, watermarking, full-text search, and priority support.

If you need to free up space before your plan downgrades, download important files to your computer and remove them from Dropbox to get under the 2 GB limit.

Dropbox offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on paid subscriptions. If you cancel within 30 days of your initial purchase or most recent renewal, you may be eligible for a full refund.

Annual plans: If you cancel within 30 days of being charged, contact Dropbox support to request a refund. After 30 days, no refund is issued, but your access continues until the end of the annual billing period.

Monthly plans: If you cancel within 30 days of your most recent charge, you can request a refund through Dropbox support. Since monthly billing cycles are 30 days or fewer, most monthly plan cancellations are eligible if you act quickly.

EU, UK, and Turkey residents: You are entitled to a refund if you cancel within 14 days of purchase under regional consumer protection laws.

App Store or Google Play purchases: If you subscribed through Apple or Google, you must request refunds through those platforms. Dropbox cannot process refunds for purchases made through third-party app stores.

To request a refund, visit dropbox.com/get_help, sign in, and submit a billing support request. Include your account email and the date of the charge you want refunded. Refunds are typically processed within a few business days.
