3View Your Current Plan

On the Current Plans tab, you will see your active Zoom subscription (Pro, Business, Zoom One, etc.) along with details like your billing cycle, next payment date, and plan cost.

4Click Cancel Plan

Click Cancel Plan or Cancel Subscription next to the plan you want to cancel. If you have multiple Zoom add-ons (such as Zoom Phone, Large Meetings, or Cloud Storage), each one must be canceled separately.

5Review What You Will Lose

Zoom displays a summary of the features you will lose when your plan expires. This includes things like extended meeting durations, cloud recording storage, and higher participant limits. Review the list carefully.

6Select a Reason and Confirm

Choose a cancellation reason from the options provided. Zoom may offer you a discount or alternative plan to keep you subscribed — decline these if you want to fully cancel. Click Continue to Cancel and then Confirm Cancellation to finalize the process.

7Check for Confirmation

Look for a cancellation confirmation on screen and in your email inbox. Your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that date, your account converts to the free Basic plan.

If you have cloud recordings stored in Zoom, they will be permanently deleted 30 days after your paid plan expires. Download any important recordings from the Zoom web portal under Recordings > Cloud Recordings before your plan ends.

Only the account owner or an admin with billing privileges can cancel a Zoom subscription. If you are a member of an organization's Zoom account, contact your IT administrator to request cancellation. These steps reflect the Zoom website as of the last update. Zoom's refund policy depends on your plan type and when you request the cancellation:

Monthly plans: Zoom generally does not issue refunds for monthly subscriptions once the billing cycle has started. When you cancel, your paid features remain active until the end of the current month, but you will not receive a prorated refund for unused days.

Annual plans: If you cancel within 30 days of your annual renewal date, you may be eligible for a prorated refund for the unused portion of your subscription. The eligible refund amount is displayed during the cancellation flow on the Zoom website. If you see a Cancel and Refund option during cancellation, select it to receive your refund.

Annual plans (after 30 days): If more than 30 days have passed since your annual renewal, refunds are typically not available. Your paid features remain active for the remainder of the annual term, and your plan will not auto-renew.

To request a refund or dispute a charge, sign in to zoom.us and go to Account Management > Billing. If a refund option appears during the cancellation process, the amount is calculated and displayed automatically. If you do not see a refund option and believe you are eligible, contact Zoom Support to submit a request.
