Find and stop recurring payments and subscriptions charged through Cash App or your Cash App Card in a few minutes — plus how to block a charge that won't stop.
Cash App does not have a single "subscriptions" screen, so a recurring charge has to be cancelled with the merchant that bills you. Cash App can still help you find the charge and block it if it keeps coming back. Here is the reliable way to do both.
Step 1 — Find the Recurring Charge (iOS & Android)
Before you can stop a subscription you need to know exactly who is billing you and how much.
1Open the Activity Tab
Open Cash App and tap the Activity tab (the clock icon) in the bottom navigation bar.
2Find the Repeating Payment
Scroll through your history and look for the same merchant name and amount appearing on a regular schedule (monthly or weekly). Tap it to see the full merchant details.
3Note the Merchant Name
Write down the exact merchant name, amount, and billing date. You will need these to cancel with the company and to recognise the charge if it returns.
Step 2 — Cancel With the Merchant
Because the subscription is an agreement between you and the company (not Cash App), the only way to truly cancel it is on the merchant's side.
1Open Your Account With the Merchant
Go to the app or website of the company billing you and sign in to the account tied to that subscription.
2Find Billing or Membership Settings
Look for Settings → Subscription / Membership / Billing and choose Cancel.
3Save the Confirmation
Keep the cancellation email or confirmation number. This is your proof if a charge slips through afterwards.

Step 3 — Block a Charge That Won't Stop
If a merchant keeps charging your Cash App Card after you cancelled, you can cut off the payment method itself.
1Lock Your Cash App Card
Tap the Card tab, then toggle Lock Cash Card (or the card image, then the lock icon). This blocks new card charges while keeping your balance intact.
2Report an Unauthorized Charge
In Activity, tap the charge, then … and choose Report an Issue / Dispute if you were billed after cancelling.
3Contact Cash App Support
Open your profile icon → Support and explain the recurring charge. Support can help block a specific merchant.
Locking your Cash App Card stops all new card payments, not just the one subscription, so re-enable it once the unwanted charge is resolved. Blocking a charge does not cancel your contract with the merchant — you may still owe money or face fees if you skip step 2.
